EPCC Makes Membership More Accessible
The Evergreen Park Chamber of Commerce has streamlined its membership program to make joining more attractive—and affordable—for local businesses. The Chamber now offers lower annual fees overall and just two levels of membership: Individual and Business.
The Individual Membership was created for home-based businesses and service providers to take advantage of the many benefits that Chamber membership offers. The Individual membership is $75 a year. The previous membership structure was designed for brick and mortar businesses and has been consolidated into a single Business Membership, which costs $150. This level is appropriate for all companies and organizations that operate out of a storefront or office.
The restructured membership levels open the door to many new businesses in Evergreen Park that otherwise may not have been able to take advantage of Chamber membership. Specifically, start-ups and other home-based businesses will now have an affordable option for participating in the Chamber of Commerce.
Our Membership Drive is Underway!
Please explore the valuable membership benefits and promotional opportunities that are available to Chamber members at both levels.
Networking and Social Events
The Chamber sponsors a number of opportunities to meet other local business owners and build relationships. They include networking breakfasts and after-hours events throughout the year, as well as seasonal luncheons. Our summer golf outing is one of our most popular events, and a wonderful opportunity to promote your business while enjoying the company of Chamber members in a relaxed, beautiful setting. throughout the year.
Business Workshops
We also organize educational programs throughout the year on topics of interest to our members. This year, we organized workshops on property tax appeals, digital marketing best practices, and the secrets of successful networking. We’re always interested in hearing what our members would like to learn more about, so please email us with suggestions for future workshops.
Promotion on Chamber Website and Social Media
Our new website includes a searchable directory of our member businesses, which boosts your online reach and presents the contact information for your business, including your logo and website. This listing gets indexed by Google and provides you with added credibility when customers and new business leads search for you online. The Chamber also promotes member businesses via our FaceBook page.
Listing in Our Printed Buyers Guide
The Chamber prints a Membership Directory and Buyers Guide each year that is sent to more than 7,000 homes in Evergreen Park. Members are automatically listed in the directory and also have the opportunity to purchase display ads for even greater visibility.
Updates on Business & Community News
The Chamber sends regular email to its membership, sharing recent business news, upcoming events and opportunities, changes that business owners need to know about, and other information. This communication keeps members informed about issues of interest in Evergreen Park and to the business community.
Access to Local Officials
Chamber events draw local elected officials and representatives from the Evergreen Park school districts. As a member, you’ll have the opportunity to meet the mayor, as well as other officials from the Village of Evergreen Park and our two school districts. Every Spring, the Chamber hosts a “State of the Village” luncheon with Evergreen Park Mayor James Sexton, and he delivers an informative speech on the Village’s accomplishments and plans.
